Pin codes

Do DVC members ever receive a discount offer or pin code from Disney for non-DVC resorts and stays. Occasionally I like to take a spur of the moment trip, and stay at a moderate. If they were offering free dining it would be a plus. Now everyone is talking about a 40% discount. Will I ever receive an offer like that? Have only been a member of DVC for less than two years.

Been a DVC member since 2006 and also stay on property at mods and values several times each year. We have yet to receive a code. There is little or no incentive for Disney to send codes to DVC members.

I have a Disney VISA card, so I have gotten a few pins and codes from having that.

Do you still pay out of pocket for at least part of your stay? We have just 150 points so we do move on our weekends to a moderate. We have received pin codes because we still use them. In fact, last night I just booked a preferred room at CBR for June 4th & 5th using a 35 percent off pin code. We are also Disney Visa cardholders and get special promos from them time to time.

we're received the 1st ever last year.it's been said that if you sign in & price out a trip & save it without booking, it's not unusual to receive a pin code for same dates/level of resort shortly thereafter.

We've had a Disney Visa from "Day One" but haven't received any offer that we could use. Haven't priced out a trip on the Disney web site because the site is almost as slow as our dial up connection. Guess I'll give it a try. We only have two hundred points and it just doesn't go far enough for me, especially when you want to take the kids and grandkids. Thank you for your replies.
