PIN codes question

We are hoping to return to DL in 2011. We've never stayed onsite, but I see that a lot of you are getting pin codes in the mail and with a pin code I might consider an onsite stay. I am wondering what you guys have done to get the pin code sent to you. So far I have saved draft itineraries on the website and ordered the vacation planning DVD. Anything else that might get me on "the list"?

We have gotten pin codes in the past. The only additional thing we have done is stayed on property previously. I'm not sure if that would be a reason or not.

I get pin codes and have stayed on WDW property onsite, and offsite at DL (but booked through Disney travel). I frequently request dif free dvd's and login and do a "saved offer" vacation (I go through all the steps fo booking a trip without actually booking it, and save it instead).

I'm not entirely sure that the pins are a sure thing though even if you do all the above. I tried those steps for years before I finally somehow got on their list the last cpl years.

Thanks guys! I get WDW pin codes all the time, but never one for DL. Wasn't sure if there was something I was missing for the DL codes.

When I have gotten pin codes, it was after a WDW trip for WDW and after getting my DLR AP for DLR. Though the same special rates became available to the general public. I think the PIN would just let me book it if they sold out of the general public's sale rooms.
