Pin code resort change question

I have a pin code and booked BC for May/June 10.

We may have a 6th person coming meaning we will need to rooms.

2 BC rooms is not in my budget, so i would book 2 preferred rooms at CBR with the 35% off in my pin code.

I think my code says i have to book by the of Jan 2010.

Can i change my room at anytime and still get discount as long as there is availability or am i out of luck after Jan 2010.

It's as long as they have availability with that pin code. They allot a certain number of rooms per code so they might not have one available when you are ready to switch.

So you are saying it could be done all the way up until the check in date? if the rooms was available?

Yup! If I had a dollar for every time I switched resorts this past year with my pin, I probably could have paid for the whole trip!

That is funny. I just don't know what to do, i have to make dining ressies though and my day is Nov 30 and it is based off of staying at BC. If we change to CBR, i will definently want to change some things around. Did you keep changing dining, too?

yup!!! We went from Pop to CBR to CR. The dining was initially done based on Pop but once we switched to the CR (about 60 days before the trip) I changed a bunch of stuff (especially breakfasts at the monorail resorts). I was VERY lucky to get what I wanted

Oh good. I feel a little better. I am guessing from your sig that it was June 09, so if you were still able to do some meal switching at 60 days out, it gives me some hope since my trip is end of May, beginning of June 2010.

Yup! The only things that I couldn't switch was Chef Mickey's breakfast (never any availablilty for the whole week for a different time) and Tusker House breakfast. We wanted a later time for Tusker House (and were shut out of that even with the 90 +10 rule back then) and I wanted an earlier time for Chef Mickey's. And we never could add a breakfast at Ohana's (but were NOT disappointed by the wonderful meal/service we had at Kona!)
