Pin Code Offer for 4/11/10-6/3/10

Yes, they are missing our $$! We have gone once per year for the past 4 years (1 year we went twice). Well, with the Economy and getting a super cheap deal on DCL in June, we haven't been in over a year. We also didn't renew our APs. I think their bottom line is suffering from our absence...

We received 3 of the same pin code offers (to 3 different emails) for the $500 gift card if you stay at the Moderate resorts and purchase tickets. There is NO discount on the stay or tickets with this offer, so I'm thinking that if you received a % off pin code, this is a MUCH better deal than the $500 gift card (especially if you are staying at a Moderate). I forgot to confirm with the CM I just spoke to if the gift card could be used at the restaurants, but when I looked at the link online in the email to disneygiftcard.com, it stated it could be used for restaurants, shopping, etc. I also asked the CM if I had a different offer (like the % off code) attached to my name, my husband's name, or any of the emails and he said no - that was the only offer at this time. Since we have to stay at either the cabins at Fort Wilderness or the Family Suites (we are a family of 5 and have 1 with severe food allergies so we need a kitchen/kitchenette), the $500 gift card is not all that special for us compared to the % off. Of course if this is our only offer we get......it's better than nothin'! If we don't get the dining plan, then we could use it for food in the parks.

I agree that a % off would have been better. I called last night to price this out +1 extra day at CBR and the savings was only about $30. The $500 gift card is nice, dont get me wrong! But last year we just didnt spend that much there. Hoping for the 4/3 thru June!!

Now, when I called the CM said the reservation is held for 1 week (just a quote-no payment) Should I call and cancel it or just let it ride and cancel on its own? BTW, when I priced it online and the price wasn't much different, I mentioned that to her (CM) and she was extremely rude. She said, "Why bother to call!? Just book it online then!" I asked her to calm down, I just asked a simple question and then she was OVERLY sweet. Guess maybe they had gotten a lot of "how much will this cost" questions yesterday!

We always seem to get pin offers but DW just is not that interested. This year I am planning just me and DS and those dates would be perfect. This is the only way I could upgrade to a mod and keep within my budget. We are both excited about a guys only trip but would love to be able to take him back to CSR since we loved it so much there.

Just got a quote from our travel agent on the Pin code we got (491 per adult at a Value).

My dates are April 14-20 -

All-Star Music, $728.86 (1-day PH ticket) (We have APs, so will hold on to the ticket for later use.)

Port Orleans, French Quarter - $990.14, same thing (1-day PH ticket).

If you subtract the cost of 2, 1-day PHs ($279.04), that brings the room portion of All-Stars to $449.82 and brings the room portion of POFQ to $711.10.

Those are VERY attractive rates for that time of year!!

Waiting on a quote with the PIN code 30% off moderate for these dates. Anyone know if the 30-45% off e-mail can be room only? It makes no mention of dining or tickets and does not refer to a "package." I really want the room-only cancellation policy. Do you think I'll get it?

My husband just received this pin last night and I jumped on the phone with our TA to see if this would apply to us and save us even more and it did. Only two hundred dollars but every bit helps. So on top of the savings we have booking thru AAA we've saved even more with this pin #.

This pin is not for packages in their entirety it's for the room rate within your package - so ticket and dining plan prices remain the same.

We were booked for AKL standard view - 7 nights
2 adults & 2 kids, 8 day MYW tickets, plus dining for $4107.16

I called and had the discount applied and the new rate is $3,144.16. We are soooo excited!!!

I got a pin last week in the email account I used to request a wdw planning dvd with. I said I was planning a Dec visit.

So if you want a pin and haven't got one yet, maybe request a planning dvd.

(I sent it to my TA and she checked and said the free dining I am currently on is a better deal).

My TA just called and said that earlier when she called Disney to have our pin applied the CM assumed we were staying in a water front view and that when she was going over our reservation she noticed the error and called and had it changed, thus saving us another 164 dollars. So in the last day she has saved us almost 1,000 over booking with Disney and without the pin.

Can't wait til hubby gets home to tell him the good news.

Just got a pin code tonight in my e-mail from Disney Destinations.

I'm so happy

We had to change our original date, but now I know we are able to include the DD Dining Plan because of the 40% off our room. We can't stay 7 nights so the 4/3 plan wouldn't have helped us.

Called DD and her husband and they are thrilled too.

Here's hoping that lots of discount codes are out there for everyone.

I am thinking that we received the pin since we had been researching a trip to Disney, but no one really knows what sends the pin e-mail out.

My suggestion to you is fill out any survey from Disney you are asked to and watch your e-mail>

an idea of what it may cost. Staying at AKL also
but we are 2 Adults and 1 Kid 14 years (adult on DP).

of the economy so I was hoping WDW would try to lure us back
