The last couple of Disney trips my in-laws have gone along with us. When I made the reservations for my in-laws, I used my e-mail address to make things easier for me. Now everytime I get a pin code wth my e-mail address it is under my father-in-laws name and we can't use it. Is there anyway to change it so my name appears on the pin code? Has anyone had to contact Disney to get this changed. They are not able to make any further Disney trips because of health.

Only thing you can do is ask that his name be removed from your mailing list. I've read of others doing this, but they said they still randomly get Pins in that persons name.

same thing's happening to me! I keep getting PINs addressed to my father - to my email address, with my home address, phone #, etc. None have been good for my dates anyways but I don't want to get one that is good for my dates and not be able to use it!!

so i called and the CM spoke to guest services and said since my father shows my address - he's not listed anywhere else in their system - and the PIN is technically attached to the address, not the name....therefore, I can use it. I asked several times if she was sure and she said yes. :confused3

In my situation, my father-in-law's name and address is attached to my e-mail. I can't use the pin. I have never gotten a pin in my name, but about 10 in my father-in-law's name and address.

oooh, I see. So do you think it makes sense that I'm able to use the one I've been getting?
I haven't gotten any in my name in years but since this past trip (that we both went on and I booked separate rooms for us in each of our names) in April, I've gotten 3-4 in his name!!!

My understanding of pins is the person whose name it comes under must be on the reservation. Not sure how they check that out as they don't ask for photo id at check-in (or at least I don't remember them ever doing so), but if you got to apply the pin, that's a bonus!!

i know that the person doesn't have to be there b/c many people have posted that it came in their DH's or DW's name and they were able to use it without them being there..... but I just wasnt sure since it's my father and not husband.... oh well, I guess I'll find out if I ever get one that applies to my dates.

I received the pin today. it actually came addressed to my bosses granddaughter who came with us 2 years ago. I called anyway and I said I wanted to apply a pin that I received and she pulled up my info and applied it without me even giving her the code numbers. It must be on the account already when you call in. It is attached to your address. I already had an existing reservation. The free dining did not apply to my dates since I am going in May but I did get the discount.
