Pin code guest error.

For about a year, I had been getting pin codes from Disney, up until now I had no plans to go. The last pin code prompted me to call and book. The name on the pin code did not match me. While researching on Disney's side they mentioned last name of Dixon living in Illinois. I emailed the Disney department that handles sending pin codes and I gave them the name and state I had been told. I just got and email saying they had corrected their side so they will be getting the codes from now on. Always call and see if you have a pin code because maybe you are getting them but through someone else's email address.

I might try again. I called a couple weeks ago and the CM had no clue what I was talking about. He just kept trying to tell me about the current summer discounts! Thanks for giving me a little hope!

Interesting! What email did you use to send to this department that sends pin codes? After many years of getting pins, I've been getting pins for my dad (since 2007 when I booked and paid for his room) and once that started I've never gotten another pin for me. Thanks!

The pin code that comes by email is tied to your name and not your email address.

Thank you Lena&Lars, I'm going to give writing to the email you provided a try, although after 9 years of periodically trying I don't have much hope! My dad is in his late 80s and has no interest in getting emails with pin codes from Disney, although he might let me book him a room sometime again .

I have the same problem but with my Mom. She gets all the pin codes that are sent to my email and with my sister's address. I have NEVER gotten a pin code since I started getting them for Mom. For years we always travelled together to WDW. I guess that is why it started that way.

Disney has allowed me to use the pin code sent to me on occasion, but I have to call and wait while the person gets permission to book it. Mom's name is not in the email anywhere - just mine!! Frustrating!

I have been afraid to try to get it stopped, because then I might not get any pin codes at all! LOL!
