Pin Code Free Dining LOTS More Dates

I FINALLY got a pin code in the mail, my first ever!!!! BUT unfortunately, not for the free dining..... just an offer to stay at the values for $59 a night from stays 09/28/08-11/25/08, 11/30/08-12/3/08, or 12/13/08-12/18/08.... my question is should i call in the morning to see if this pin code will decrease my package price at all for my CSR trip in October?? I already have a discount code booked using QXG.... has anyone else received this pin in the mail for this deal and has it saved them any money on moderates?? Thanks for any help!!


Yes, I would call if I were you. It can't hurt to ask. I know before the AP rates came out for Sept 28 and beyond I received a PIN for a package including tickets. I asked one CM if I could just book the room only and was told no. I called the next day and the CM I spoke with had a room only discount as well. I booked it but I ended up changing the reservation anyway since the AP rates ended up being better. Good luck!!
 
Strange thing is that the postcard had my maiden name on it even though it has my new updated address??! My profile is updated with my married name on disneyworld.com.... this shouldn't be a problem right?
 
Will this code apply for your entire trip if your check-in day is the last day of the promotion?
 

This pin has nothing to do with the Disney Visa. While I have one, none of my friends that also got the code have one.

It's a link to the Disney Visa Rewards website and they are offering free dining with your Disney Visa under code QXZ. The poster on the other thread said she talked to Disney and that they should start booking this later today or tomorrow. This is great for those of us who didn't get the free dining email pin code.:cool1:

Ohh well..guess I will just have to deal with it going and paying for DDP...no harm, I was doing it anyway...
 
I am wondering something, hoping someone could help me out here. I already have the QXG rate. Right now (no dining package) I have 6 nights @ ASmo, base tickets, preferred room for $1077 for 4 (one 3 and one 2 yr old). I am grateful, if we don't get free dining then fine. But of course, if I can save more money than even better!
But would the Dining code take away from my room rate? Im just wondering if it is even worth holding my breath for?

Also, if this promo did go GP, would it be where the specials are listed on their website? Where the QXG rates are listed??
 
I just got off the phone with reservations and the pin code that I received would actually make me pay $100 more!!! =( And since I was on the phone with them already, I tried using the QXZ code for Disney Visa free dining and she did not know anything about it yet and said it was invalid..... so I am definitely trying back tomorrow about that code!

Call back and hope for a better CM. I was told by several CM's that I could call any time and inquire if there was a code attached to my name, and that they could/would look for me.

And yes, I've gotten a few CM's who told me I need the code to look it up.

I tried back, got a nicer CM, and she told me that the one I had was already used..(OK that was my upgrade from POP to CBR for an additional $30) but the other one I had was no good...Ohh well live and learn..

I get stuff in my former married name all the time. Which I have no clue why. It shouldn't be a problem.

I would call and ask if it includes the free dining.

To add insult to injury the last time I called to see if the gp code was available the CM said, "well you already have a GREAT rate here." Umm, I'm booked at rack rate. When I told her this she said it's great because it's the value season rate. Whatever:rolleyes: -- would've been nice to get a discount when there seem to be so many out there.

I would still try and call to see if they can pull it up with your name. Weirder things have happened!! :) Good luck!

Just did before posting (which really made me mad at myself)and she told me that they don't have a list of pins you have to give them the pin. She was really nice and told me not to give up if I got one then hopefully i could get another, she even asked if i had a disney visa which i don't and don't want to apply for. She tried to help but couldn't. I have learned that there is a down sign to clearing cookies, its empties your trash.:guilty:

On the upside i already have a pin which is saving us 488.22 on our package and the dinning plan cost for this trip is 639.84 so unless the FD plan also offers a room discount as well i not doing to bad.
151.62 is the difference .

I would call often probably everyday, cancellations happen all the time. When I called to see if the Visa free dining was available for my trip next week they told me that our hotel wasn't available (we would already be there 2 days prior so I really wanted the same place) I didn't do anything since I wanted to talk to my husband about changing resorts. We were going to do it and I called back 3-4 hours later and guess what I got the same hotel. I thought that cancellations were updated daily! Either the first CM made a mistake or more rooms were available a couple hours later. Keep trying.
