Pin Code Free Dining LOTS More Dates

I finally got a pin, but doubt I can use it. But I have a question. Can I use the code and apply it to the days I will be there that are for the promotion and since I"ll be there some days after the promotion just pay the regular rate for those days? Or does it not work that way?

You should be able to do it, but it will most likely be a split reservation which means you could have to change rooms, and you will have to check out and back in, even if you keep the same room.

My DH received this e-mail offer/pin code last night. Too bad we are planning on going in January!!

Us too, but I already got an amazing deal on airfare, and hopefully we'll come across a similar offer in January. It would be slightly ridiculous if there are symptoms of low attendance (discounts) for the rest of this year, but the beginning of next year is completely booked up. Of course that will probably be the one pin I do not get.


I just like getting the pins, because it lets me know I'm in the system.

It looks like there are three emails going around. Some got offered only through Oct. 11, some got offered dates in Nov as well and some people got offered Dec dates as well.

pixeydust, when I booked my december dates, I got free dining for all 10 days I booked. So all 10 days were at the $63 rate.

I got two of these!! Sadly we can;t go either. But the first one came in my former married name, but the same email, and it was only for 9/28-10-11, I think. the second one came in my correct name name now and had alot more dates. If I had extra money I would go, but I am hoping for a cruise this spring, so I'm not even going to ask DH what he thinks.
Disney must be hurting for bussiness. I mean this seems way out there. It would be awesome to see something like this for srping too, but unlikely.

Yes, I have tried calling to find out. And nothing was attached to mine, or my husbands name. I have no idea how they get your name and how they chose. We have never been, but have ordered the DVDs 3times in 2 yrs, and I am signed up on their website, along with their Disney Store website, along with this and allears.net. If that matters. ALso, have the deposit down for our stay. So, I know they have my name...it's there. Even if I did get the pin... our stay is dec 6-12 pop warner week. Lucky me, I doubt they will offer much that week!

YES! And I could have stayed at POR for 12 nights! But, it was $1100 more...and NOT worth it IMO, so we just did the POP instead, but it only went for 11 nights...we cut it down to 9 nights.

What I was saying is maybe I'll win the lottery and can afford to go then and then go on the cruise as well.


Ok, maybe I'm reading it wrong. Are you questioning what I said? Or are you hoping for boht? LOL. Sometimes when we write it does get confusing.

If you have a pin code I would call to see if it works. I booked my 12/22 -12/29 trip in February and I was able to use it for my entire stay. I think because it states that you must book by 12/20/08 and it also says the value resorts only apply. Good Luck to everyone! Sending

We called and were told that it would cost us an additional 800ish dollars for 10 days of free dining. That comes out a little better than purchasing the dining plan outright, but not much. I think it's because we had booked originally at POFQ and they don't add the same discount the pin offers on the value room. Plus, to take advantage of the PIN, they take away our AP rate. Hmmm, now considering a switch to POP, as the savings is significant!

Won't help for this one, but we have gotten the last three pin codes and my DH is convinced it is because he ordered the DVD. He just periodically orders the updated ones.

I ordered the DVD on Monday, and had a 30% off PIN code today. Can't use it. It's for a higher rate than I already have.

I've never used a pin code before. They're not transferable? Like, if someone doesn't use theirs, they can't give me the code? We're DVC but are traveling in December with some friends who would really like this deal!

Well, here are some prices for you.

The RACK RATE, on a 9 night stay at Pop Century. 2 Adults and 2 Kids (5 and 8) Dates December 20-29th, with 1 Day Base ticket and NO dining is..............
$1629.38

The Fall Discount for this exact same package is.................
$1256.48

My Exact Pin Code FREE Dining Package is..........
$1352.58

As you can see, the Pin Code is not only Free Dining, but also a room discount!

Oh and just for the fun of it, the Rack Rate for the exact package I am paying $1352.58 for is $2493.02!! I am saving $1140.44! 9 nights of Dining for my family of 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 8) is only worth $863.64. So the room discount looks to be $276.80 or $30.76 per night.

If there are, I will be pretty upset. I've been trying to use a discount code for my package since the general public discount codes came out and every day I call and am told "no availability" for my week. I'm going the 2nd week of December.

Now I'm hearing about these free dining codes for December and am wondering why disney would send these out if all rooms were booked. It doesn't make sense to me.

To top it off, I did not recieve any email for this new offer.

The 30% pin code that I got early this year included Dec 7-17 so I got lucky. Could this have been before the Pop Warner dates came out? Obviously now Pop Warner has caused that week to be blocked out.

Right! I first held POR, but it was $1100 more and just not worth that much more money IMO, so we downgraded....plus we love POP!
