Pin Code/Free Dining- Discount ?

I recently received a pin code for free dining for our vacation- Oct 30 2010 to Nov 5 2010 ( Contemporary- 6 nights ) When I called my travel agent to apply the free dining the discount was only $268. Does the sound right ??? This is for 2 adults and 1 child.

No the discount would be bigger than that for free dining- it's $41.99/day/adult for the regular dining plan. Although it could be not that far off for the quick service plan I guess - I'm not sure what the price for that is.

If you had a room discount at all before, though, you would lose that when you add free dining - you can only have one discount at a time. So it's possible that your TA had you in a discounted room already, and now you are paying full price with free dining, and the difference in your savings is only $268. $268 is better than nothing, though!

Edited: Scratch my Quick Service idea - that plan is still $31.99/day per adult, so I think my other idea about losing a room discount to get free dining is probably the answer.
