Pin code for more than one room?

My father-in-law is graciously treating my family and SIL's family to a WDW trip next year. As luck would have it, he received a PIN code for our dates. Can he use it to book more than one room or is it only good for his room? I've never been lucky enough to get one so I don't know how they work! TIA!

Your FIL can book up to 3 rooms on his PIN, has to be the same dates and maybe the same resort (not 100% sure on that). enjoy your trip

You can put different credit cards on the rooms for charging, etc. when you get there unless your generous FIL is also paying your incidental expenses LOL.
