Pin Code...deceased??

Me and my family have made an annual pigrimage to WDW for the last six years now. I have a disney visa, recently went on a disney cruise, order a new vacation DVD every year, and have registered on the disney website...

So I called disney the other day to make my next reservations for our next trip. I make mention of possibly checking my name to see if I possibly have a code (I've never recieved one). The CM sort of chuckles and then tells me a possible reason why I have not recieved a pin code. "The system has you as deceased". I about fell over. So THIS is why I never recieve ANYTHING by e-mail or regular mail. How does this happen??? I've also noticed that I'm constantly having to correct personal contact information when I call. Anyone else heard of this or had this problem. :confused3
 
Well, there was an old M*A*S*H episode where Hawkeye was listed as dead. It really annoyed him to find himself dead.

Why not hit the internet and register a bit differently-- maybe with a middle initial or first and middle name? Start from scratch. Who knows?? Maybe Disney will try to entice your new alive persona into a visit with a nice PIN code??
 
I'm still alive.....but last time I called I learned that my previous visit occurred 4 years before I was born! :lmao:
 

I have had to correct my e-mail the last three times I have called them. It is always the same correction. I don't know if it is the system or just a few CM's that make mistakes.
 
Its the system. There may be 10 of you listed in your household because the system creates duplicates from when you book online and the email may not be listed on the name they choose to send the pin code to

For years, probably 3 or 4, I have tried to get them to change my e-mail address. Each time they say they have updated their system, but the next time I call, it is the old e-mail. Last time I called (a few months ago) they did have it correct in the system. I still can't figure out why it took so long to correct it. (I bet I gave them my correct e-mail 8-10 times!!)
