PIN code came in my maiden name...can I still use it?

I finally got a PIN code! Of course it came for dates I currently didn't have plans to go
but I do have a question about it...the email was mentioning my maiden name, not my current married name that is on all of my ID...if I wanted to use the pin, would that be a problem??? I know you usually can't transfer pin codes from one person to another so I wasn't sure if it would be considered "valid" if I booked under my married name using this pin. It came to an old email address I don't use much anymore, which is why I'm guessing it came in my old name (I've been there 5 times since my name changed so they definately have my married name on file!)

I did. The CM was very nice. I started the process in my maiden name. Then she changed it to my married name and said not a problem.

thanks for the quick response! now I just need to find a way to fit a quick trip in and I can try it if not, at least I know in the future to check that email address more often in case I get another one!

I received a postcard last year in my maiden name as well. I had no problems using it. When I gave the CM my PIN, I also said the postcard just has my maiden name and not my married name, but it had my current address. The CM said "no problem" and we booked the trip. She did link my records together, though, so I will most likely never receive any disney offers in my maiden name again. And now whenever I receive my disney confirmations, it says my first name, maiden name, and then married name, which is fine.

I called one time to see if a code was attached to my name and they check my married and maiden name as well as my dh's name to see if there was a code.

I'm another one who got a card in maiden name and was able to use it. We stayed at BWV 4/19-4/26 and saved $1200!!

I just got one in my maiden name also. Not sure where they found it since the only time I went to Disney before last week was back in the early 90's to Disneyland and I surely didn't have email then! Glad to know that they still can be used though, maybe it'll double my chances of getting that 40% off code!
