Pin Code attached to my name

I received an email from Disney with a code for 20% off of my resort stay anytime in 2008, however we have plans to visit disney in 2009. Does anyone know the odds of this code being carried over to 2009 or them even issuing me another one with out using the one I currently have?

Have you made a reservation for 2009? Does Disney know you are planning a trip for 2009? Just trying to piece together who gets codes. Thanks!

I doubt they'd carry your current code in to 2009. Any chance you can go in 2008 and take advantage of the discount -- is it 20% off any level resort? I think there are currently people in Florida getting postcards for 40% off deluxe and perhaps 20% off value, not sure.

I'm in Florida - an AP holder and have never ever gotten a postcard or had a pin code attached to my name. Very frustrating. Wonder how they pick & choose who they send them to?

2009 will most likely have all new codes of their own.
Each offering as a set time to book and to travel.

IF I'm not mistaken, PINs that are attached to names are for that person only. You can not share them. They are not general public codes.

How do I find out if we have a code attached to our name? I called the booking number and the guy said he doesn't have that info if I wanted to check I had to go to www.disneyworld.com Well I did so and signed in and I couldn't see where to even begin to find one. We are trying to plan a trip for April 08 (we went last April and kids loved it) I guess where else should I look for great prices on booking?
