:hourglass Hey ya'll!!
My bf and I are going to the pin trading celebration Sept 8-10.
NO Kids this go round!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
We have never been to this event before, so I'd appreciate any info
about the event. I've been collecting pins for almost 5 years now, but
I'm definetly no pro

Picture 1200 rabid pin traders in one place....

It's a blast; went last year for the first time. DW and I are going sans kiddies this year. Boo hoo for them :goodvibes

Get there early - bring your pins and stake out a table to trade. There is loads of trading going on. The auction (Saturday) is great. Several free pins (the $90 is a very good investment).

Enjoy :)

Just curios. Do you have to hang out for the whole day to get the
freebies or can we do some exploring while we're there?

I'm anxious to know more about it too. I'm going for the first time. DH is going, but it wasn't worth the $90 for him to go in, so I figured I would bop in and out throughout the day.

You can come and go as you please. Some of the free pins you get when you arrive, some you go around and collect by playing games or checking out whats up and coming from the different areas like Paris, DL, disney store, etc.

Just all depends on how it is set up. It is crazy!

We'll be there Sept 8 - 10 too!

It's $90 for the pin trading event? oh my :(

I wanted to give pin trading a try and i thought it was great that there was an event when we planned to go!

If you check at the Official Disney Pin Trading Website under events you will find the event listed and see what it includes. If you go on Sunday, starting at 11:00, you will be able to attend the Public Day portion without having to pay anything.

If you want the entire event, it is too late now to preorder any of the limited edition pins, as they have all been selected. However, you will have the opportunity to get any which were not selected.

And (hopefully) you can always trade for pins you didn't get. CF is (as always) 100% correct; there is usually a fairly healthy supply of higher edition pins left over and for sale. I picked up the Jumbo Stitch pin last year on Saturday. Not sure why, but it did! Finally traded it for Musical Figment

Can't wait!
