Pin Celebration location, sign up???

I havew read that there will be a Pin Celecration of some sort at EPCOT in September while I am WDW. Does anyone have ifo on this event or know where I can find it??

All I know it is Sept 20-22 at EPCOT and it is called "The search for Imagination". I saw a posting with this info and it had Figment on it. Great to see him back at work.

i can't help you there, but i do have a question concerning pins. i read over on our laughing place about a pin meet at the contemporary the last of june. i do know the registration is 25$, but that is about it. does anyone know more details? t hanks

You can get more information on both events at Disney's pin trading site. Just go to Disney.com and find pin trading under the site map. You can also get information at Dizneypins.com or by calling Special Events at 407/827-7600. However they are only dealing with the June 1 event at this time.

There are actually two events in June - one is on the 1st at the Sports Complex and the second at the Contemporary.

The Contemporary event is June 28 or 29. I would imagine information on that event will be released shortly. Information on the Sept. event will most probably be released sometime in July or August. The Sept. event will be more than $25. Most likely somewhere between 75.00 & 125.00.

The June event at the Contemporary is Mickey's Star Spangled Pin Event on June 29th, and the theme is obviously patriotic. The September event is the biggie. It's The Grand Pin Celebration and will be held at Epcot September 20-22. Admission for the Star Spangled event will be $25, but I'm not sure about cost of the Epcot event. I'm just thankful that it's not in August like last year, where I melted.
