Just asking a question for a friend that's doing the 4 day at the end of May. Do they still accept pillowcases at the front desk for the characters to sign? Thanks for any help!

Yes they do!!!
i did this in December and they are great.
be sure to have her put them into a zip lock bag with sharpie markers and attach a card to the inside of the bag, so you can read it with her name and room number on it. They will ask you again for your name and room number for a card they fill out too, but still do your own. They will also ask if she wants just the princesses or just mickey and minnie or a variety of characters. I did the variety and it is so cool!!!

They do ask that you do this the first day. i went to the guest services desk right after lunch about 1:30 p.m. and there was no line, that was great. they should deliver it to your stateroom on the last evening but if not, just go to the desk the last evening, fairly late and they will have it for you, but they usually deliver it to your room.

:thumbsup2 We did this too!!! Ours wasn't delivered to our room we went on the last night and picked them up!! Enjoy

Do you have to provide the markers?

Some say to , others say no...if I can save buying the markers...I would be happy!

Anyone???

We did, I bought two plain white Pillowcases and put them in a large ziplock bag with a Red Sharpie Perminant Marker. Also wrote on the bag our last name and cabin #:sunny:

I provided four pastel markers and they did a great job!!!!

We had these done too with the «mickey and friends signatures. Can you tell me who signs when you ask for variety of characters?

I just may have to buy new pillowcases!

Is there a pillowcase request LIMIT? I'd like to have four pillowcases done if possible when we cruise later this year.

We just got off the 4-night, 2/19-2/23. We had four pillowcases, no sharpies included, requested specific signatures for two of the cases and no specific requests for two. Everything looks great. We dropped off the cases on the second day and picked then up at 10:00pm the night before debarkation.

We got off the Wonder last week and we had t-shirts done. We were on the Valentine's Day cruise, so I had my mom embroider Mickey & Minnie in a heart on each of the pink t-shirts. I turned them into Guest Services in a Ziploc bag with our name and room # on it. They told me to pick them up after 10pm on the last night of the cruise. We did not include a marker and they came back with signatures of Mickey & Minnie on the front and lots of other signatures on the back. They used a red sharpie marker and it looks GREAT on the pink shirt. When we got home, I heat set them in the hot dryer for an hour and washed them like normal. They look GREAT.

Did you add any kind of cardboard or backing to keep the Sharpies from bleeding through to the other side or was that not a problem?

You should wash the pillow cases or t-shirts first. I never put cardboard with it. I'm sure they have a set way of doing these things and are prepared to do them without any fading. I have never heard of anyone else adding cardboard for backing either, so I'm sure it's not necessary.

Welcome home! Thanks, I won't feel guilty turning in 4 pillowcases.

Thanks for all the info I am going to do pillowcases for the kids for the cruise, now I will have to do ones to get signatures as well.
all this stuff is keping me out of trouble on the weekends!!

I don't have kids...I want the pillowcase signatures for me. :goodvibes Is that wrong?

Does anyone have a suggestion beside a pillowcase for our 25th anniversary Disney cruise? Would love to do something special to commemorate the event with the characters signatures and later have it framed.
