Pillowcase Question...

We just sailed on the Wonder the 25th-29th and my pillowcase question is this: we headed to guest services right after boarding the ship and requested that the characters sign some pillowcases (2). The man at GS was very nice said no problem, filled out the paper work and told me they would be delivered the last night. I was thrilled since we were celebrating my DD6th b-day. I had wrote a Thank you and included some candy for the trouble. When they arrived on the last night, there were no autographs! What (if anything) did I do wrong??? My DD was heartbroken.

No way! Did they really deliver the same pillowcases to your room with nothing on them??? Geez...your poor DD! That's awful! I'm so sorry!

There was a huge white non picture area around the edge of the pillow case. SO MANY characters signed it. (Lots of Princesses, the fab 5, lilo and stitch, Capt. Hook, Peter Pan ect...). My DS6 and I just yesterday Colored in HIS pillow case, but the other one has not been colored yet. After reading your post to DS12, he suggested sending His Pillow Case to your DD. I cried to see such empathy in him (I love my kids!!). Anyway, would you accept this? I could send it as a belated Gift from Mickey Mouse. She can have fun with you coloring in the Pirates Picture. All the Signatures are in Different colored Sharpies. I can PM you a photo if you'd like.

I don't know why yours didn't get signed. Did you include sharpies for them to sign with? Thats the only possible reason I can think of, but even still, they should have been able to find something to sign it with.

This is why I love the DIS!! I am not sailing until September, but I would be willing to take an extra pillow case and get it signed for either the OP or tjbaggott.

Pay it forward, thats the motto I teach my kids. We are cruising again this fall, though DS's don't know about it, It's a SURPRISE, so I can get one done for him then if he wants to. I find it funny how we all kind of forgot about these pillow cases (cruise was last November) and only remembered them when I was rooting through the Disney Memory box I packed up till after Christmas (well this is a long time after Christmas), but sometimes things happen for a reason. Ones not colored yet, and perhaps it was meant to be for disneyluvrs4's little girl.

I got these ones from Walmart. Though I haven't seen any more there since I purchased these ones. At the time, they had Tinkerbell, Cars and ToyStory ones as well as the POC ones. On the package it came in is janlynn.com
try that website and perhaps you can order directly. These ones were $9.99 each from Walmart here in Canada.

Oh OH, I just looked up that website. I looked up the item number. (for the POC one, item number is 1136-56) THEY HAVE THE PIRATES ONES! $9.99 ON SALE FOR .99 CENTS EACH!!! When you look just in the pillow case section, it doesn't show on sale. But when you look it up by the item number IT DOES! I just ordered26 Of them for the FE gifts for the kids on our cruise this fall! HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!!!!
The order went through, 26 @ .99 cents each plus $5.50 for shipping to my Aunts in NJ (cost more to ship to Canada) for a grand total of $31.24!
The .99 cent sale pillow cases dont' come with the crayons or instructions but I can type up the instructions for anyone who wants them. Basically, you can color it with crayons, markers or fabric paints. Wash and dry before coloring, heat set with an iron, using wax paper between the pillow case and the iron.

You have an amazing son! I'm sure you are very proud! I'm sure my DD would love to get a belated gift from Mickey in the mail-if your son is sure.

I did include markers. I don't know what happened.
Since this was our 1st cruise, I thought maybe I did something wrong.

Thank your son for me and give him a big hug! He is very kind! I wish there was something that we could do for him-as a thank you. I will try to figure out how to post or send pics so that he may see how happy he made my DD when it gets here. Thank you again!

Can I ask how you looked it up by item number? I tried their website and can't figure it out. When I just put the item number in the search box it comes up with nothing!

I put 1136-56 (hyphen included) into their search box, and it came up. If it's not now, I wonder if the 41 I ordered plus the 8 a PP ordered, has cleaned them out now? I just checked and it still works for me. Perhaps you forgot to put the hyphen in? If you search "Bargains" I also see Blank canvas tote bags come up for .99 cents. These would be great for ironing on graphics and then using as an Adult FE gift!

You could also try calling their 1800 number and place an order that way. Give the item number to them and see what they can find.

When you type the word "Bargains" into the search box, those tote bags come up and are on page 2.
