Pilgrimage to the Great Swampy Temple of the Rat.

We headed to our last rezzie of the day. Le Cellier. Our favorite restuarant, bar none. Well, mine anyway 50's Prime Time in DHS could be tied for my wife.

So after dinner, we were starting to get into a food coma we'd eaten so much on the DxDDP. We just walked to the handicapped seating for Illuminations.

After this, we headed out. I'd already gotten my Christmas tree shots.

We had thought we would only be in AK a few hours that 1st day, becuase it was check in day. We ended up being there all day. We had a lunch rezzie today with the in-laws, and we went here for a breakfast buffet. This was the new Tusker House. We liked it a bit, but for some reason the characters never quite made it to our table.

After breakfast, we did what else? The Kilimanjaro Safaris again. Twice. Again. My wife took the camera for this go 'round.

We went to Dinoland usa after this so the kids could play around. While Mom & Dad could walk off breakfast.

DD was running and took a spill. SHe was OK, but I caught her just as she hit the ground.

We walked around a little more, then it was time to go have lunch. We had made plans to meet the IL's at FW Lodge at Whispering Canyon for lunch. Plus the Christmas tree in there is HUGE!

Afer lunch we were so full from a big breakfast and lunch, we needed to walk around. This being New Years Eve, we didn't want to be anywhere a park at midnight. Or anywhere close to one. We took the boat launch from FWL to MK, and from there picked up a bus to the Boardwalk inn. We had planned to hit this and the 3 deluxes on the monorail loop to see the christmas decorations. It didn't work out that way.

We felt so drained from our food coma, after here, we just went to our dinner rezzie, Chef Mickey's. (Via EPCOT, since you can't go from hotel to hotel by Disney Bus.)

We entered into the Contempoary. Since we were sooo early, we just sat, instead of trying to see the poly and GF christamas decorations. We might've been getting sick at this point. We were all so tired.

Here's the charcter shots. I could not eat at this point. I think I had some meat, and some beans. I was feeling sick at this point. I had to trot off to the bathroom several times for a little relief.

I was feeling warm, and nasueous when we left. We took the mono over to MK, and picked up a bus to go back to POP. Of course the bus bounced all the way back, and somewhere along the way, I barfed into a plastic bag. Twice. I was so quiet about though, my wife had no idea until we got off the bus at POP, and told her tie off the bag, or I was gonna be sick again.

We made it back to the room, and the kids were starting to have diarrhea, and vomiting as well. In retrospect, we think it might've been something we ate at Whispering Canyon. We had the last lunch time slot available, and it had taken a while to get our food. We didn't say anything then, becuase we didn't really connect it. We also don't hold it against the place, as the food was really good. We chalked it up to eating way too much on the DxDDP. I do not recommend trying to have 3 (that's three) all-you-can-eat's in a single day.

We had planned this as our 'off day' from our initial planning stages. We did not want to be anywhere near one of the parks on this crazy day. However, we were all so tired from being sick, we didn't even get out until about 11. Our original plan had called for us to use snack credits to have breakfast at the PoP restaurant. This was to make up for the double dip at CRT. However, food was the farthest thing from anyone's mind that morning. I thankfully had passed out, and did not wake up again until about 9 am. The others had all been up half the night, with vomiting and diarhhrea. Not a good night. We pushed back a rezzie from 11 to 1 at Cap'n Jacks, and rested some more that morning.

We did get out, and over to DD, by about 11, I think. I was still a little loopy. We did make it to Cap'n Jacks. I remember having a very light lunch, and no food porn.

We were all still feeling a bit wrecked. So we went back to our room, and relaxed. We ended up cancelling our dinner rezzie for Maya Grill. That was the first time I ever skipped a meal on vacation. That also let us have breakfast the day we were leaving as opposed to paying OOP.


Again, that's it for now. I have to write up the last few days.

Love looking back on these memories, but that new year's eve is one that I would love to forget. I am just glad that when we all were having our moments, we had them in turns. With only one bathroom, we had that bathroom flowing time after time but we didn't have any other issues with needing more than one, thank goodness. I never want to have any more of those moments again on my vacation to the happiest place on earth.

Since we turned in early the night before, and skipped a meal, we awoke early enough to make a 9:10 rezzie at akershus. OUr DD just loves princesses. What 6 year old doesn't? Here's our princess takes, along with a food porn or two of breakfast.

We caught Mary Poppins just as we were leaving.

WE went back into future world, for mission space, which our DS loves so much.

We decided to do more of World Showcase. And we had a 1:30 pm rezzie at Marrakesh in Morroco. I let DW have the camera here to take pics.

We were approaching a rezzie for Coral Reef, so we mosied on over to the Seas, to hit the Aquraium.

We killed time waiting for our food, then I forgot take pics of our meals. I have no idea what I ate except that it was fish, but I ate it all, because I had room for a light dessert.

We decided to head back after dinner, having seen Illuminations already earlier in the week. I took a few shots of the lighted sidewalk designs.

Off to Adventureland! We did PotC first.

Our DD was picked to be the timer counter, or whatever they call it, for PotC. They use the red tags to determine how long the wait is for the ride.

After this, we went over to Frontierland and picked up the train. Once again DW has the camera.

We made the loop, got off at Frontierland, but got right back on to go to Main Street uSA. As we walked up it again, DW took pics of the windows.
