Anyone do this? I have been REALLY good working out!!! I worked out 9 of the past 10 days, but woke up late today so no gym, I was thinking about throwing in a Pilates tape. I usually work every thursday night 7p-7:30a so I try to relax as much as possible. Do you think Pilates once a week would be beneficial instead of going to the gym?

Thanks

Oh, I do think Pilates would be beneficial. I love Pilates and have found it is the best to give that core stability that is needed for everything. You will be fitting it in just right. As long as you are doing other workouts Pilates will be a great addition. I don't think it is a substitute for cardio, but it will trim the core area and give strength to allow for other daily movement and exercises.

i think pilates is fantastic; especially for those light workout days. i would say when i consistently do pilates/yoga -- i feel longer. crazy huh, but i think the lean and long look comes from pilates; and like Lily said nothing is better for strengthening your core muscles, abs, back and increase your flexibility

I think pilates is a great workout, it's great for toning and tightening! Once to twice a week would be great!

I don't think it would hurt to trade one gym day for pilates. Pilates are great for core muscles and muscles burn more fat. :)

Keep up the awesome work with the gym. WTG :thumbsup2
