Just received a txt from a cast member on this (this cast member knows CM who plays several cast members).

Current story is that the CM was hurt in the stomach (small girl).....not sure if Piglet actually fell over on Crystal Palace floor. Waiting on response regarding assault charge.

Wow, all I can say is if this is really true, than the man who assaulted Piglet is a pathetic excuse for a man. From the update above, I am led to believe that it was a young lady who was the CM wearing a Piglet outfit when this allegedly occured ??? If this truly did happen, I cannot imagine how upsetting it would have been to the CM, all the young children who witnessed it, and also the man's wife (or girlfriend, whoever she was). I would seriously give second thoughts on my relationship with any man who goes around assaulting anyone. If it is true, in addition to assault charges, I hope Disney officials ejected his sorry a_ _ off of the property forever! What a jerk!

From what I understand, most of the characters outfits, both the male ones and the female ones, are worn by smaller women due to the size of the suit.

This can't be true. You just don't punch someone in a crowded place like WDW (or anywhere else, don't get me wrong) if they make you mad.

I believe it for two reasons: one is that the last time I was at Disney some characters were overly-friendly towards me and my sisters (we are ages 19-25.) One character linked his arm in mine and completely led me away from my group.

The second reason is that a friend of mine was at Disney last year with her fiance and he actually got in a fight with Tigger! It was so funny when I heard about it because he is the calmest, most laid-back person you will ever meet and I couldn't imagine a Disney character making him that upset. But apparently it is the same guy under that Tigger suit!

Sorry but I have a very hard time to believe that a WOMAN in a piglet suit pissed a man off enough to deserve getting punched by blowing kisses.
Another point is the characters are SUPPOSED to be friendly, that is the point of Disney characters! Who would to meet them if they told you where to go when you asked for an autograph?

If this did happen, it's horrible, but I find it funny that everybody is just jumping on the person like he's some kind of monster WITHOUT KNOWING ONE SINGLE FACT!!!

Considering we recently had an instance of a CM in a Tigger suit sexually assaulting women at Disney World, I don't think you can fully put the blame on anyone without knowing facts.

What if this person dressed as Piglet had grabbed his wife's breast? What if this Piglet had pinched his wife's butt? What if this Piglet had touched his wife somewhere else? What if all this happened, then how would you feel about the situation?

Personally, I think the reaction (punching a costumed character) is a little extreme, but not everybody is like me. And I'm not going to judge this person without knowing all of the facts.
