Piglet figurines/ merchandise in parks?

I tried to order a Piglet birthday cake at Crystal Palace for my DD's birthday. They can not do Winnie the Pooh characters or Pixar on cakes......so they suggested that I get the basic cake and just bring a Piglet to decorate the cake with.

Do they sell ceramic or plastic piglet figures in the park? I do have a nice Royal Doulton one that I am adding to her collection but I am not sure I want to take it and have it put on the cake. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There is a shop connected to the Winne-the-Pooh ride in MK that has tons of stuff, a nearly-Hundred-Acre-Woods-character-only store in DTD, and the last time we were there (Oct 04), the jewelry store on Main St. in MK (on the right as you face Castle) had many, many of the small porcelain figurines (including Pooh characters) -- although the other two stores would be your sure-bets. I would definitely say to leave your special figurine at home and count on finding something cute at the parks -- you could even do a Piglet pin, and just attach it to something that you could stick in the cake.

I was actually looking for Piglet stuff a few weeks ago. I looked in the Pooh store in DTD...boy was I disappointed. Nothing much. The store has really shrunk it's Pooh merchandising a lot. Not sure about figurines, I was looking more for children's clothes and toys.

There are a lot of cute porcelain ones on eBay for less than $10. If it was me I would probably buy one before I left so I wouldn't have to run around looking for it.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I never even thought of ebay. I had not seen the Enesco figurines of pooh characters anywhere in Canada. I had to order the Royal Doulton ones from England last year for her birthday. I will check them out and try to get one before we leave.
