we didn’t take a photo package
so we will most likely buy each a few pictures each
so we still go on deck 4 to view them ? ( it used to be you scanned your KTTW card and you could see them
is it still working this way ?

Yes, it was as of February at least.

And, yes, it was still this way as of the April 23, 2022 sailing on the Fantasy. We bought a 10 picture package and it seemed a bit easier in compared to past years. We didn't have to enter a code---just went to the website and the pics were there.
