Hello

I brought back two lovely pictures from WDW in 2000. One of the four castles from each park with a bunch of characters up front and the second of Mickey and Minnie sitting with their back to you on a bench - cuddling with pluto underneath.

Ever since 2000 I have been begging DH to get them framed and put up. Well April 2001 - they were both framed, June 2001 - the castle picture put up and today only 20 months after returning from WDW the 2nd pictures is up.

That must be a record - DH just isn't in to DIY :D

I can beat that!

We have a poster of Magic Kingdom from our 1988 trip - still unframed and ready to go up on the wall!

Can you imagine the same scenario Kaylee if it were pictures of their precious Football Teams or "The one that got away" or ...... well, you get the picture dont you? (Pun intended by the way!) LOL ;)

A funny story I have to tell on putting things up on the wall doesnt involve pictures but wallpaper! First time we went to Florida, my Dad offered to wallpaper our dining room whilst we were away - great we thought. We went out, carefully chose the paper we wanted etc. etc. and all the trimmings. When we got home - he was so pleased with it, it was all bright and clean and brand spanking new. We didnt have the heart to say that the wallpaper was upside down! We had flowers falling out of Urns! LOL (wasn't as grosse as it sounds by the way!)

He couldnt believe it when we told him we were redecorating a couple of months later - we started to say we had changed our colour scheme but in the end we were laughing so much we had to tell him and well, my dad being my dad - thought it was hilarious too and helped us to do it again :)

Sorry Kaylee but your story, brought that back to mind and gave me a wonderful fond memory of my dad. Thanks ;)

Janice - your poor dad :D, LOL Spottydog and Bonzo - I thinkit is about time!
