With the advent of digital cameras, I've compiled a list of items which should be photgraphed not only at WDW, but any other amusement park/attraction. Without further ado, things I've found helpful to photograph:

1. What you kids are wearing (including sneakers/footwear)

2. Your parking space

3. Your park tickets

4. Your photopass

5. The shops and souvenirs you may want to purchase later. This saves running all over the park trying to find something you wanted, but didn't at the time like I did at Cedar Point.

Please feel free to add to this list. I look forward to some great ideas!

Last time I was there, I took a picture of the parking aisle info and a woman asked what I was doing. I explained, and she suddenly realized this was a good idea, but by that time we were on the tram. So I just forwarded the picture to her phone. So remember you can do this! :)

Luggage in each bag in case one gets lost. It's good for putting in a claim.

Another great idea! How about taking a picture of your luggage itself in case it gets lost and you have to describe it to airline personnel...

Your hotel room number... Cause they all look alike and you'll always remember the exact room you had on vacay even after you return home :)

If using a rental car, the car with plate number.

Good suggestion. Also, when you pick up your rental car take a picture of it in the parking space at the rental facility and pictures of any small dings and marks on it at the time of pickup. Save those for a few months after your vacation in case the rental company tries to say you were responsible for them.

At DHS last Saturday, I took a picture of the row where we parked, "Stage 46". Another person saw me do it and then did the same thing. A third person then took a picture and the second person said to me, "You started a trend."

When the tram driver was driving us to the park entrance, he said, "Remember, you parked in Stage 46 & 47. This information will be valuable to you later." I was laughing inside because I already had my picture of it.

And see? I still remember in which row we parked...

maybe take a picture of your contact information and where you are staying in case you lose your camera. Someone may be nice and turn it in or call you themselves to return it.
