I miss the spell room...

Me too.. It was the only way we could do magic without buying it.

And I loved it!

I have a few to add.

This first one is from the infamous "room cram" party in MrGenie. VMK has warned never to do this again so I'm only showing you the picture, I will give no instructions on how it was accomplished. Do you see yourself? *I'm on the right side down front behind Prepster in the green shirt and green flips wearing black ears. You can only see the side of my face* You can see Genie just barely peeking in the doorway in a Red shirt. One last thing...there are at least TWO VMK Staffers in this picture...before the green ears. Can you spot them?

This is a photo of some of the funnier bugs VMK had happen. Notice that not only are there "bleached" out people, but that there are people missing arms and legs while they dance!

We used to have lots of problems sitting as VMK characters...

Once again...missing limbs!

This last photo is from the last night Beta was open. June 22 was it? Maybe the 23? I don't remember.

Sorry for so many photos, they just all had something funny I wanted to share.

ive seen lots of spell room and other rooms from old, but never seen a pic of discovery island. this is the only room ive never seen!!

I've always wondered how the use of the word "taken" came about on this site. Anybody know or remember when they first started seeing it?

How were the hosts distinguished during BETA?

I think.. They're flips. Remember, People bought them? I think then they took them away. And People could tell if they were hosts if they saw they're flips and clicked on them?

This is really small, but if yo can see in the right hand corner, all the players are crammed together trying to find quest items. This was one of the first quest vmk tried with the quest machine.

Ah! The memories!

Unfortunately, I deleted most of my VMK pictures, but I have 1 left! LOL

I do have a photographic memory though, so i can TELL you about stuff LOL.

•Well, Frontierland had a picture of wagons and stuff, but no places, just like tomorrowland was. The only store was the golden horseshoe.
• There were no HOST_ only VMK_
• (I'm not sure on this one, don't remember that well) There weren't any Staff game rooms, only their rooms where you can hang out in
• Teleportation magic was REALLY rare and everyone was crazy for it
• Space suits and sorcerer hats were 'IN' and REALLY rare
• (I don't remember this either, correct me if I'm wrong..)There were no best guest/game/quest/ rooms
•The popular list never had Mickey heads, room passes, tickets, and all the features you have now

It's a picture of VMK Staff in their old uniform (I know, this has been posted..) and playing a Mix. I believe it's VMK_Red. Heehee, who's that pretty girl in the sorcerer hat?

You know, now that I think about it, I wish they would release those clothes since they don't use them anymore! UGH!

Oh, and how was the room cram possible if you can only have 15 players in a room? I never got that...

When I was a Guest during beta, I remember being told I was ugly.
I laughed and said, "Thank you". He said I was ugly again. I thanked him
again and told him I enjoyed being ugly. He seemed frustrated by my
response.

And I do remember seeing "Are you taken?" almost from the very beginning
of VMK, as well. Rudeness and taken have always been a part of VMK.

Since many have asked, I thought I'd circle up the hosts:

You can see both VMK_Red and VMK_Annie. They didn't have a particular hat to wear. The only rules were that they wear all green...and for quite a time the green flips and baggy pants were available to everybody! I hate green so I never bought them. I still don't want 'em.

I actually think there was a third host in there at some point (Mocha?) but I was lagging so badly that I couldn't get a screenshot.
