Pictures of Pavilion and Boardwalk Reception??

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been asking alot of questions lately but I don't want to miss out on something I may want for my wedding.

I wanted to know if anyone has pictures of the pavilion, boardwalk hotel, and the boardwalk patio and ballroom around Christmas time. I don't know if any of these places (other than the basic boardwalk resort part) are decorated at all. Not sure how the flowers and decorations work.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks gang, you have been great!

The Wedding Pavilion is not decorated for Christmas at all. I think they try to keep it very neutral so it fits with any theme any time of the year. We did have a Christmas color scheme, and it looked wonderful in there. One thing we had that we thought really added to the Christmas theme was small greenery wreaths on the ends of every other pew.

As far as the BoardWalk goes, I’m not sure about decorations at the convention center. If my memory serves me, I think all I saw at the GF convention center was a few decorated Christmas trees in the hallways, so I would guess that’s all they would do at the BW too (if they do anything at all). Your EM will probably be able to give you some info about that.

The BoardWalk resort itself is decorated for Christmas (and it’s gorgeous!). I will post a link to my wedding pictures (you can hunt through to see the pictures of the Christmasy flowers we used) and a link to my photo album of the BWI at Christmas so you can get an idea of how the decorations look.

Thanks for the reply ead79! Did you bring your own Christmas wreaths? I also wanted to ask where you had your reception at the GF ballroom? It seemed like you didn't have that many people (like myself) and I wondered how you felt about the big room with the low number of people attending. I will actually have less than you. I will have around 17. I also wondered what you did for entertainment? Others have posted about bringing a boom box and somehow having it set up with the sound system. I was wondering if you did this. The prices for a dj are too high for us so I thought the option of the boombox would work but only if it went through the sound system somehow. I am sure I have to ask my event manager about this but just wanted your take on it and what you did for your own wedding. Your pictures are just fabulous. Looks like it was a fun group and a magical time. Do you have a wedding report posted? I would love to read it. Do you think it is possible to private message you sometime about wedding stuff?
