THANKS THANKS THANKS for the pictures. We just left WDW this morning, so I am happy to see how the park changed just from last night. And, it isn't raining!!!!

We did get a bonus last night and saw Space Mountain with the lights on while riding Tomorrowland Transit Authority - pretty impressive.

Questions:

1) What time on day were the MK photos taken? I'm hoping that you're going to say midday.

2) What was the temp. like? Low 70s?

3) How easy/hard was it to move around the MK? Parts of it look wall-to-wall, but other areas look very empty.

THey really are great pics! thanks so much for taking the time to post them.

I do have to say I'm really disappointed at how much of the little park they took away from in front of the castle! Does anyone else notice it, or is it just me? It looks like there's no place to sit and enjoy the parades etc. I hope this is just a temporary change.

Karebear1 - I agree with you. I had the same reaction when I saw Safetymom's pics. Up until now, we've only been able to see parts of the Hub rehab and not the whole thing, so I was reserving judgment, but I have to say after seeing those pics, I'm disappointed as well. I always liked that area exactly because it was park-like, and since it blocked your views from whichever side you were standing on, it lent an air of mystery as to what was on the other side. It made everything around it seem nestled into their own places, as opposed to looking like a big concrete amusement park like I think it does now. Hopefully, the vegetation will grow in and it will regain some of its park-like atmosphere.

The pictures were taken around 1:30 PM. It was in the 60's today.

Thanks Safetymom. I think you're right, sometimes it's hard to get the full effect from photos.

Guess I just have another reason to give to DH for another trip! ("No really, dear, we NEED to go check out the Hub and see if it's still pretty..." )

I just loaded pictures that I took tonight at the 6:35 performance of Cinderellabration. I was using 2 different cameras and trying to get as many pictures as I could in the dark. It's hard since there is a lot of dancing in the production.

I will take make and replace them as I get the chance in my album.

Running to the park is interrupting painting my son's bedroom. I will get it painted one of these days. He is moving back from college at the end of March.
