I went to MK to take some photos. I have new pictures of the hub area. There are no walls now. Also It's a Small World was supposed to have a soft opening today but it wasn't running when I was there. You could hear them working on the music. I have pictures of the queue area and it does look like the Disneyland version.

I was late for the morning Cinderellabration and might go back tonight to see it. I will post those pics. I will also have pics from It's a Small World tomorrow when it opens officially.

Photos are in the MK March 18, 2005 album.

can't wait to see them
:)

Thanks for the pics!

Looks like MK was REALLY crowded today!

Thanks for the pictures! You can tell the New Englanders in the pictures- they are in shorts and tank tops while everyone else is wearing lomng pants and jackets :)

Thanks, Safetymom! You always post such wonderful pictures and so quickly too! Looking forward to hearing about Cinderellabration. Those crowds are just a sign of things to come in the next two weeks, I'm afraid!

Got to love Safteymom, I have so many weeks til I get to go again and your pics are wonderful!

Thanks for the pictures

I am more excited then every now to see it all for myself. :jumping1:

Thanks for the pics!
There sure is a wide range of clothing in the photos...some with sweatshirts or jackets, others with shorts & tees...I even saw some ladies with spaghetti strap tops & no jackets. I'm sure I'd be one of the ones with jackets & sweatshirts since I'm so cold natured!

That's what I was thinking. I wonder what the rest of the parks were like.

Is there any reason it should be this crowded already?

Two words...

Spring breakers!

Thanks for the pictures. You are so great to keep everyone updated. You are great!! :jumping1:

Thanks for the pictures. :) I'm still in shock over the crowds. I didn't expect to see so many people. :)

Thanks for the pics! It's a Small World is looking good. :)

Pictures are great. I am a little disappointed that Disney felt they had to make a smaller version of the DL IASW for WDW. That's just what it looks like they did from your pics.

I grew up going to DL and have fond memories of going to watch the clock strike at IASW and see all the figures parade out. Yes I was surprised that IASW was in some corner of FL in WDW, but I have gotten used to it. Now it seems they feel the need to replicate DL but on a smaller scale. How Disappointing!!!

:sad2: :sad1: :(

It's part of the 50th DL celebration. That's why it looks like DL. DL is still more impressive.

Thanks safetymom, I love looking at your picture albums, and I was hoping you would be posting these :flower:
