I have lots of picture's of Holiday Inn Family Suites. If you would like to see them go to www.picturetrail.com Where it say's view album/member's name put Tluvs2talk. We normally stay only at Disney Resorts but had my Mother and Niece and Nephew with us and wanted more room. We were delighted with our accomodations. The kids ate free with 1 paying adult, so we saved a lot. Adults and Kids also eat free breakfast buffet. Any questions feel free to ask.

Great Pictures!

If you had the choice between HIFS and Animal Lingdom Lodge,Caribbean Beach or Port Orleans, which one would you select?

We are goin the first week in Nov and have booked at HIFS but, the new codes are out so I once again cofused!

Thank you for sharing those great photos. I'm even more excited about our January 2002 HIFS stay now. Of course, the bad news is I now want to take a Disney Cruise too! Money, money...

CountryDuck,
Even though we really liked HIFS, There is still nothing like a Disney Resort. We have stayed at all 3 of the Disney Resorts you mentioned and they each have something special to offer.

1. Caribbean Beach- Very colorful large spreadout Resort. Great theming, great pool area, beautiul lanscaping. Drawbacks- depending on where your building is you may have a long walk to bus area and main pool/foodcourt. Still My #1 pick. have stayed here 10+ times

2. Port Orleans-Riverside Love the bayou's the best. mansions are very pretty too. Love the boat ride to Downtown Disney. Landscaping is WONDERFUL!!! All the charm of the South. Great sit-down restaurant "Boatwrights" Very nice main pool and quiet pools. Drawbacks- mansions are a long walk to food court. stayed here 5+ times.

3. Animal Kingdom Lodge- you have the feeling that you really are in Africa. The animals are amazing, and the savannah is a wonderful place to see animals up close. Drawbacks- dark rooms

Tluvs2talk-
GREAT pictures! Thanks for posting them - we have a reservation there in Sept and have researching to make sure we made the right choice!
Would love to stay on site but need more room for Grandma.
I have two small children (1, 4) and someone suggested bldg 9, floor 1 as ideal location. Would you agree after your recent stay?
Thanks.
Kim

KimKE,
I think those building sound great!! The way the buildings are situated around the pool, all the rooms are convenient. It just depends on how close you want to be to main building. (food court area, check-in, arcade, store, ) We personally like being on the ground floor but they do have elevator's. I think you will be pleased with HIFS. I really enjoyed having my own room, Niece and Nephew their own room, and Mom living room sofa. It gave us all some personal space.
