Had this during our March Trip, it was very good. It comes with roasted Potatoes. I will substitute for mashed next time we go!! But it was very good! I highly recommend it.

Honestly not sure :confused3 but I thought it might be the bread on the plate. I couldn't identify what it was when my meal came to the table. :thumbsup2 I guess I should have asked.

If you like Iced Tea, they use Twinings at R&C, it was very good!! :goodvibes

My DH is English and we have had Yorkshire puddings millions of times!! They are just like a pop-over - made from batter which is cooked in the oven so that it puffs up. They don't have much flavour until you put things on them, like sauce or gravy.

I think that they were created to bulk up meals when meat was scarce - they are only made from a few ingredients like flour, milk & eggs - so they were a cheap way to make dinner go a long way!! Try one - they are addictive!! :goodvibes

I've been planning of getting a Scotch Egg for months (only at the pub not the R&C resturant). Wonder if the pub has the salad and toast as well?

So looking forward to going back here next year! Going to get a different desert though and will most likely get fish and chips as opposed to the steak and fish I got in July...tasted the fried fish and I was in HEAVEN! Scotch Eggs were awesome as well!

Here a few of mine from our last trip this past May/June. It was a fabulous meal!
