El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante Dinner Buffet Beginning 9/22
On September 22, 2005, El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante will open temporarily as a Table Service Restaurant, serving a dinner buffet.

The location will be open through October 5 (with the exception of September 30 and October 2) from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The buffet menu will include Mesquite Grilled Kansas City Steak (grilled on stage), BBQ Mango Ribs, BBQ chicken and an assortment of sides and deserts.

I always enjoyed this as a quick service location. If the change to table service sticks, I'll definitely have to check it out!

Yummm... sounds good. I hope it goes well and they decide to keep it open longer than the trial period. MK needs another good place to eat and ElPirata has never been open once when we have been there during the last several years.

oh please tell me that this is the place that has the GREAT Taco Salads that i just love... I will be arriving on oct. 5, so please say they will be open . i know that most of the time they are only open till maybe 3:00 or 4:00

I love this place. I go every year just for the taco salads. But with the changes you posted, will they still have the mexican foods?

Not sure what they are doing with the mexican foods. It doesn't sound like this is going to be permanent.

Could this be because of the free dining, and the fact that every table service place in the MK is booked solid during this time frame!!!

that sounds like a great place. Hopefully ADR's will be accepted and on dining plan and will stay permanently. We won't be there by Oct 5 so I hope they keep it open till June 2006 so we can try it. It sounds like something my family would love. I have always thought they could use at least one or two more sitdown or buffet dinner restaurants. Yeah Disney.
