Pictures of Closet?

We are in a category 4B, does anyone have a picture of the closet? I'd like to see how big it is and the configuration. Are there drawers inside the closet? Is it split for hanging long items such as a dress, or a double hang for shorter items like shirts?

Well, here's one side (it's a 4A, but should be the same):

I'll have to see if I can find the other side. But it's the same, except 1/2 of the lower part has the cabinet with the safe in it. Certainly long enough for long dresses. No split (short) hanging space.

No drawers in the closet. There are lots of drawers in the desk unit, as well as shelves/cabinets:

How does one not like Shmoo? Shmoo rocks! BTW are those bigger ship photos? The magic and wonder had a different set up with the chest of drawers... the bigger ships - I like their drawers better than the smaller ships... I'm a drawer fanatic

That was on the Fantasy.

On the Magic/Wonder the desk has smaller drawers (the top one on either side is double depth)

And a separate dresser next to the closet (hiding behind the connecting door here):

Thanks Shmoo! yes quite a difference in drawer size, I miss the bigger ships!

And on the Magic and Wonder, the closet doors slide open rather than opening outwards as on the Fantasy and Dream (like the picture). I don't know why they did the outward doors; it seemed like every time I was in the bathroom, DH had a closet door open and I had to wait for him to close them before I could get out. I prefer the sliders.

Yep. Opening the closet doors on the Fantasy really blocks things up.

But, with actual closing doors (ones that latch shut), you don't have the same sliding door issues that the Magic & Wonder have in rough seas.

I noticed that you have a trash can holding the connecting door open. None of the doors can remain open without propping it with something? Also, since it's a trashcan holding it open I assume they aren't nearly as heavy as the stateroom doors (from what I remember).

This just made me think of another question, unrelated to closets, that I think you may be able to answer. I know you have to put your keycard into a slot by the door for lighting. Are you able to use any other type of card (like an old WDW ticket [not magicband obviously]).

Yes, any card will work. Doesn't even need to have a magnetic strip or anything.

The door does not stay open on it's own. It's not as heavy as the stateroom door. You can get a door stop from your room host, if you wish to prop it open. This one was on the Magic, in a 9B room. I'll just say, with the door open, it does cut into the "feel" of how much space there is (or isn't) in the room.

On the Magic & Wonder, there are no light card slots. On the Dream & Fantasy, you can use any credit card sized card. I'd probably use one that had a little weight to it.

I doubt that it would take long. There are people here who don't like me. And I don't really have pictures of everything - just stuff I think others would like to see in "real life" and not just a description.

I always know that when you answer a question it usually is the best answer. I also like the pictures that you post.
