Anyone have pictures of the candy they are giving out this year at the Halloween party? My daughter is so excited and she's been asking me about it. The candy at MNSSHP last year at WDW had a lot of lollipops and other things she didn't like in it. The candy isn't why we're going but it sure is a fun part!

I won't know what kind of candy they have this year till we get there, but here is a pic from last year at DLR. Hope it helps :)

Along with the candy you could also get carrots and dried apple sices ;)

Thefirst party isn't for another week so No one can say for sure about what'll be there this year. For the record that picture is a good representation on what's given out at the MNSSHP at WDW this year.

No wonder why I couldn't find any pics, lol. I got confused between reading threads about MNSSHP and seeing the beautiful Halloween decorations thread. I'll try bumping it in a week!

Is that from one bag! Or two? Either way that's amazing!

We just got back from WDW and 8 of us came home with one large paper grocery bag FILLED TO THE TOP! We had to split it between suitcases on the way home because of weight limits.

The one time I went to MNSSHP at WDW (2008) and my one Halloween party at DCA (2009) it was mostly cheap junk candy and very little chocolate. Last year with the move to DL, the candy seemed to improve greatly. LOTS of the good stuff, as seen in the picture above. Hoping this year is the same.

I think it varies year to year. We've been to WDW three times and DL twice for trick or treating. Twice the candy at WDW seemed WAY better, but in 2009 the candy in DL seemed more on par with WDW. Haven't been yet this year (obviously), but we're hoping it's more in line with 2009.

We went to visit family for Thanksgiving and took all of our DL candy with us. Of the 5 people who trick or treated, we ate a decent amount after we got home and took out some favorites to keep and still ended up with a giant reuseable grocery bag (Trader Joe's) *full* of candy which overflowed my DMIL largest cooking pot. The rest of the family was speechless...

But that may have been the sugar coma...

Wow, that is NOTHING like the candy we received at WDW last September! I was disappointed. It was mostly cheap candy and no chocolate bars. Looks like DL gives out way better stuff.

We got similar candy last year. (Love the Halloween bag from Disney World! It's my "purse" in October.)

We only went through a few lines too. This chocolate-loving gal was very pleased with the goodies. Yum!!!

That's the candy we just got this year in WDW. Lots of Snickers, Milky Ways, Almond Joys, Skittles, M&Ms, Sour Patch kids, Nerds, Laffy Taffy, etc. There were a few "no name" candies, but that was not the norm.

OMG I want that bag!!!! so cute!

The good thing about trick or treating at Disneyland is the Ghiradelli Chocolate!!
I dont remember getting a lot of Chocolate in WDW in 2009 but maybe that's because of the humidity it melts faster....:confused3
