How about the Monday Hurricane Wilma blew thru last year. Parks were closed in the AM but then opened around 1 pm. DD and I were on one of the first busses to the MK- it was amazing! :cool1:

How about an empty Fantasy land as seen from Dumbo...

Or another view from the carousel...

Hats off to Disney and the CM's who worked overtime taking care of everyone's pets. They finally got so overwhelmed that Disney gave the greenlight to most of the resorts to let evacuees/guests keep their pets in their room until the storm passed. pirate:

Why does Main Street look so long to me in this pic?

Great shots everyone!

...and Walt rests happily in his grave! That is a little something he liked to call "forced perspective." It is meant to look longer going in and shorter going out!

So what would you have done different with another hurricane on your doorstep after having one come through already?(Charlie) Besides guests pets, where do you put all the evacuees pets? My family evacuated from the coast. Local shelters were full. Disney should be commended not bashed. CM's left their families and worked OT staying in the resorts and kennels playing, exercising and feeding the animals and keeping people posted. We were allowed there anytime prior to being locked down at the resorts. Things were handled quite well.

Sorry to get off topic. Lets see some more pictures pirate:

madcoco....

Relax :sunny:
We are talking about "CHOICES" not emergencies !!

In today's day and age with "wonderful" kennels, and even an AK for Disney to be proud of...this "stinks" :crazy2:

Yep...more pics..

Here's a couple to get us back on Topic! I know that the Character Breakfasts are a little Pricey, but they are Totally worth it to get in the parks early! These pictures are from January before CRT - We had the entire Hub to ourselves! DD4 chased birds around and it was like we owned the place!
