After we returned home from our Thanksgiving trip I described a couple of things at the Boardwalk, including the Grand Villa we had for a couple of days and the white tent that stands where the red building used to be behind the Boardwalk. Below you will find links to picutres of these.

The white tent (where the red building was) You can see why you wouldn't want to stay in that part of the building right now.

Thanks for the pics. What a lovely family you have! Great shot of the fireworks too! I guess the tent is for construction. I read where they are turning the old DVC Office and models into villas???

Great pictures HBC !! Thank you for posting them. You have a beautiful family!! The GV looks lovely! Sooooo much room ::yes:: !

Wow!!! These pictures are awesome!! You could win a prize...what a beautiful family..thank you for posting.

Thx for the pix and the update!

Still over a year until we get our GV at BWV. We'll just have to make due with 2BRs and ocean view Inn rooms until then ;)

Wow HBC - great pictures. It makes us miss WDW even more. The GV is huge. Beautiful family. Enjoy!

Great pictures! Hope to be able to stay in a GV someday. DH & I just got back from BWV, but we never did get around to looking at the tent. It does seem to be quite an eyesore.

wonderful pictures...

I have never stayed in a GV - they are just so expensive.

I guess I am just cheap!

Thank you all for the nice comments about the pictures and especially the HBC family. BTW, It really is our Christmas Card.

Wow, HBC!!!! Your kids are really beautiful!!!

And, that GV looks amazing!!

We had one of the rooms overlooking the white tent (I could actually see our balcony from your pic). We were even on the second floor, which seems like it would be really awful...but, it wasn't. We actually had a really nice view of the Swan, and could see Wishes in the evening. I was expecting a parking lot...so seeing Wishes was a bonus for me.

Maria, 3rd Floor room #3037.

Beca, I read in your trip report that you had a "white tent" room and felt bad at first. But I should have known that you would make lemonade from the lemons.

HBC...I can see that in addition to having great opinions and tips on these boards you also have a wonderful family! Thanks for taking the time to post the pics. I would think that Grand Villa is a tough place to pry yourself from! :D

Thanks for sharing the pictures, and for sending your Christmas card to all the DIS members here!
