Which speed? Which method?

I have a Canon EOS Rebel...I use the standard point and shoot method during the day with no problem...but I'm concerned about my night shots not turning out as well (being dark or grainy).

I got 800 Max film...I hope that will help!?

Hi!

I've used 800 speed before with great results from my Nikon SLR. I didn't do any manual decisions, I just let the camera decide for me. Search my name in the DIS photo gallery for some my night photos.

for great pictures of the fireworks, turn off your flash, this goes for taking pictures of the Christmas trees lite up also.

don't forget, if you are flying to hand your film through, don't let the 800 or higher go through the x-ray. I take the film out of the canisters and put it in a large ziplock bag. One year I left it in the canisters and the fellow had to open every canister to look---DH wasn't thrilled having to stand along side and wait.

I'm packing tomorrow!!!!!!!! yeaahhhhh!!!!!!!!! I'll soon be home!!!!
