<p><b>Well, finally we will stop by Universal and a bit of Islands of Adventure
now.  I always try to make at least a day for USF/IoA when in
Orlando.  Two great theme parks they are.
BTW, when you get to the end of the pictures, maybe leave the window open for a bit,
great MIB theme music, about eight minutes long.</b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/28/DSCN3514.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b>No, this was not my ride from the Swan to Universal, but it did look nice in
the morning sun.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/28/DSCN3517.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/28/DSCN3519.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And now over at Universal.  As over at WDW, the simple fountains in the
sidewalks give the kids so many laughs and fun times, I love to watch them.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/28/DSCN3520.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>A quiet morning it was, hardly a soul in sight.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/28/DSCN3521.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And for our NASCAR fans, a few shots from the NASCAR Cafe.  I always
enjoy looking at the race cars.</b></p>

<p><b>At Mel's Drive-In, great classics catch my eye.  I would love to have
that 5-window coupe, and the '57 Chevy is pretty darn nice also.</b></p>

<p><b>My fist car was a '56 Ford, like the pink one here, a model down the line
though.  This is the Crown Vicky, I had a Fairlane.  Wish I still had
it.</b></p>

Great pictures Dan! I do hope that someday I will be able to go there! Thanks for these :)

Dan those were really nice pictures. I have never been to IOA but have been to Universal studios but that was 18 yrs. ago, wow, that just brought memories back of that trip. I was going to go this June but by the time I ate at Emerils it was not even a half a day and they wanted full price so i figured go back to were you live, Disney, my AP got me in so I saved money. :D :D

My boys got a real kick out of this set of pics Dan. They both want to go to IOA since we got the planning video.

I would love to see that Lucy display in more detail. She's my absolute most fave actress/comedianne.

Thanks for sharing, Dan.

Thanks Dan. I've never been to IOA and only have been to the California Universal, so these were neat to see. :)

I just love IofA. Hulk and Spiderman are two of my favorites :) Thanks for the fun photo essay.

Great pictures Dan, made even more enjoyable by my new cable internet. (I didn't know what I was missing)

Thanks for the pics, Dan.

IOA is such a pretty park...it's so colorful and finely themed, I could spend a whole day there just taking pictures!!!

Great pictures as always, Dan. Thank you for sharing. I've bookmarked them to view later on. I love Sunday mornings with your picture threads. :) Thank you again.

Perfect movie star to pick Dan ;) :p

I love IOA! Thinking about going up for a day on our next trip.

Thanks for the terrific photos Dan!

Great pictures, Dan!! One of these days I'll manage to tear myself away from WDW for a day and make it to IOA! ;)

Great...Now with these pictures I want to go to Universal.

Everytime I look at pictures Dan has taken, I end up thinking of blowing my budget.

Great pics Dan

Thanks for the memories Dan!! I've spent some time myself in Fievel's playland with Both my kids and, Suessland with Kelly last year. The 'boys' rode all the rides while we waited and shopped around!! ;)

I noticed the Ghostbusters show has taken to an outdoor performance. They used to perform indoors, at another building, right? It's a funny show.

And, I'm quite certain ;) you picked Mel just for my BD, right?? :smooth:

ROFL about the Lime-green and DIS connections you spotted!!

We finally ate at Mel's last year. Fun place with GOOD music!! ;) The outdoor show there is cute, too. :)

Thanks!!!! :smooth:

 That's great Dan! I love Universal Studios. What a beautiful day that looked like. I am jealous, and where's my PEZ candy?

Another great set of pics, Dan. Thanks for posting.

Dan these are AWESOME!!! WOW!

I must admit, you saw ALOT more than I've seen! These pics really see everything!

I already love these parks but you made me want to go back NOW! :p

Oh, the pic of the Super heroes, that was Storm, Wolverine and Rogue from the Xmen! I DO need to get a LIFE... :p
