I need to get 250 picture developed, looking for the cheapest place that I can take my CD into the store and get glossy prints, I can wait a few days for them so no one hour. I went to sams but they only do the matte finish. My computer is to slow to upload that many online. I usally print at home. Any suggestions?

If you have an Extra Care Card for CVS you can sign up online and get up to 70 free prints with certain codes. PM me if you need help with the codes :goodvibes

Also if you are willing to wait a couple days I would upload them to one of the online sites....I use Winkflash.com because it is flat shipping of $0.99 no matter how many you are getting. Generally when I have ordered pictures from them I get them the same week delivered - I was shocked at how fast my pictures came! If you went that route you could also email family/friends your pictures too! Google Winkflash codes for additional savings - usually they have codes out for 50 free prints, low per print prices, etc. I know your worried about online speed uploading, but usually I will upload 10 at a time and do it while house cleaning. Pick 10 pictures to upload, start it, walk away - throw a load of laundry in, vacuum, etc. It will take a little time but once it's done, it's done and you can share online, re-order easily, crop & play with your pictures to create new pictures, have on hand if you want to do a calendar, mugs, etc. for presents.

How is the quality of the pictures for winkflash, I just hate to upload all those pictures but the price is great with 50 free pints. I uploaded everything to shutterfly took 2 hours plus about 2 hours picking what pictures I wanted just to find out it was going to cost anout 47.00 for the pictures 12.00 of that was shipping. Are the prints at cvs glossy, I have to have glossy and I use to have the cvs card but lost it years ago. Wonder if I could sign up in store and get the same deal.

CVS is glossy, but they are 29 cents a print (without coupons). I get pictures there sometimes. Also, Sams is glossy if you don't use the 1 hour photo. I ordered some online for 2/3 day pick up and they came out glossy -- not sure how they do those. The 2/3 day service is only 13 cents each.

I don't like Winkflash too much. I think their pictures are really dark. I had some done there and was really disappointed when they came. They were ok, but not as good as some other ones I had done here (I needed over 500 pics and thought this would be a good deal).

Just did our holiday cards at walgreens.com (thanks to a great Black Friday sale) and they did a great job. Would definitely use them again, but for my largest orders, I just love winkflash.com!!!!

Winkflash has done all of our Disney trips' photos, 100's at a time, and there are usually new customer and/or returning customer codes to make the prices only pennies apiece and shipping is reasonable (typically 99 cents for the whole order). Winkflash offers glossy or matte. I've only used them for matte finish, so can't comment on glossy, but I did lots of editing and every single photo came out wonderfully -- cropped right, lighting right, reasonable turn-around time, and fabulous prices -- but again, I'm a big coupon-user and love to google-search.

My sister loves snapfish, so think you can't go wrong with any of these, especially with coupon codes, as long as you don't mind the uploading (definitely need a high speed line). If you don't like the uploading, think I recall seeing that winkflash will accept a cd, and probably others do as well.

I will use CVS for quick little jobs, as I like the flexibility of going in to the store and printing them from the kiosk. Prices are high (pay sometimes with extra care bucks, but usually save those for other things) and quality is very spotty. For a job your size, OP, I have always happily used winkflash.
