Picture preferences?

Just curious -- do y'all prefer to see pictures in the order they were taken, or by subject (like all the pictures of the castle together, all the pictures of Fantasyland together, all the pictures of the fireworks together) regardless of the order in which they were taken?

I'm working on the pictures for my Disneyland trip. :) Maybe I can get them posted before this time next year  (I'm *still* behind by, what, 2 Disneyworld and 1 Colorado trip?)

Honestly I have no preference... whatever is easy for you :)

I agree with helenabear. I myself just like looking at pictures of DW, doesn't matter what order they are in
:D

Okay, and another question -- when I was taking pictures of Disney's Electrical Parade (formerly the Main Street Electrical Parade), I tried some different settings on the camera to see what kind of "artistic" effects I could get. As a whole they turned out... well.. like streaks of lights. I dunno what I expected. So I only got what I consider to be about 10 "good" pictures of the parade. Do y'all want to see the "failed" attempts at something different, or just stick with those that worked?

I notice that you did not forget your camera for your trip. Be sure to remember it for our next Houston Dis Meet. LOL.

LOL!!

I like them in order, like a trip report. Let us walk with you.

Post a few of the 'bad' ones, they are neat at times.

I like them in order, watching your trip progress, but I will enjoy them either way.:D

I like pictures in order.
Unless some of the experimental pictures are really artistic looking, it's probably best to leave them out.

I'm always amazed at people who hand you a bunch of pictures to look at...they're all mixed up and every photo they took is in there. They leave in the doubles, the pictures where they chopped off the subjects' head by mistake or accidently snapped a shot of the sidewalk. It's funny!

"(I'm *still* behind by, what, 2 Disneyworld and 1 Colorado trip?)"

It is quite time-consuming to keep up with it, I just put together 4 albums from the last few years!

I like to see them in order, like Dan said... Let us walk with you. I personally like the "artistic" ones, so maybe put them in a separate section? And since I'm dictating your picture project...:p :p Just kidding. Either way, I know I'll enjoy looking at your pictures.

Okay, I'm the oddball one. I like them by subject so I can compare them at the same time. I also like to see some of the ones that don't turn out as long as I can figure out what they are.

montesssori - I hate that too and even worse is when you take the time to put your pictures in a neat order and people look at them and mess them all up and get their nasty prints all over them! I now put mine in something before I hand them to someone.

LOL! Well, no doubles here (though I am keeping some that are similar -- if you see two that look alike, compare them again, and you'll find there's something different ;) )

I'll post them by order, but when (in 3 years  ) I get them on a website, I'll order them by subject. I know if I wait to put them on a website, it'll be another year before I get them posted.

I'll include about 5 or 6 of the "artistic-didn't-really-work-well" ones. They'll be in the post about the Electrical Parade.

Thanks for the input!

Right now I'm about 3/4 of the way through processing the DCA pictures.
