picture packages

Could someone tell me what picture "packages" are available on the 7 day cruises? And those of you who got a package, were you glad you got one or should you have gone ala carte? Thanks!

We just got back from the 11/1 Eastern cruise. We did a photo package for 10 I think they are 6 x 8 pictures for $85 or they are $10 a piece. They also take a lot of 8 x 10 pictures which are not part of a package. There is a package for 15 and 20 pictures too where you would save $20 or $30 over buying them individually.

If you buy a package, you can pick out pictures all week and they mark it off on your card. IF you lose your card you are out of luck.

If you end up not finding enough good pictures to buy, they refund you the difference and you can go ala carte or you can upgrade your package also.

Do not wait till the last day to pick out pictures as they will be hard to find and some will be put away.

A tip about the photographs ... As you look through the photos over the length of your cruise, take all of the photos of your family and place them together (just stack them behind each other on the display shelves in Shutters). This works well as it will be easier to find one set, rather than looking for lots of misc. pictures. Also, if they take them down and put them in the box, they will still all be together. HTH!

We were thrilled with the package...10 for $85...we also ended up purchasing 5 8 x 10's at $19.95 a piece..with a free portfolio/two sided frame.
