Picture of Water Mice

No wonder I could not find them, they do not look like what I thought they did :confused3 Thanks for sending me in the correct direction!

They are $22 for 1/2 hour.
They have 2 plans:
Captains plan $138 dollars for 4 hour
Family plan $210 unlimited use for the length of your stay. :boat:

Thank you for the information. Do you know if the four hours can be broken up? Like 1 hour one day, 2 hours another day, etc.....

Ok, let's see if I have this straight
the boys can drive them as long as they are 12 years old and are 5 feet tall BUT Mom or Dad who has a drivers license has to be with them?

I am being so technical because not sure if the younger will be that tall by June?

:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Yes it can. We bought the plan and one day did an hour on the bikes then next day did 3 hours on Pontoon boat. We had so much fun we updated the next day to the family plan unlimited time and did another 4 hours on the water mice!!!!!

I LOVE renting the water mice. I prefer to rent them from one of the resorts near MK. I have watched people driving them near Port Orleans, Coronado, Beach Club and Boardwalk. Those look like they are a lot slower. The boats from Wilderness, GF, Poly and Contemporary move at a decent speed (depending on your body weight, lol). Just don't do what I did and cut off the ferry boat that goes from the MK to the ticket/transportation center. Disney frowns on that one. ;)

It's better to be behind them anyway. You get to jump the waves it makes!! What a blast!! :sunny:

Watermice are awesome :cool1: It's becoming a must do on our vacations. Have noticed that speed varies quite a bit from boat to boat - I have twins and switch off (since mom doesn't want to do), and have gone from slow boat to fast boat at same resort.

Putting on my Flame suit....

If you are handy with motors you can easily turn off the safety feature that makes them go slower....

I did this while renting from Down Town Disney

Only suggested if you actually know what you are doing... considering I am a harbormaster I made the decision to step up the speed a little bit

If we did $210 for length of stay, can they be picked up from any location?

Are you restricted to a time limit for each use, or can you potentially use it for an afternoon?

We are staying 7 nights at ASMo.....but it would be great to be able to pick up at GF one day, CO another day, DTD another day, etc.

We are at Disney right now. We did the watermice this morning. We have previously rented these and had a great time. This time we rented from the Contemporary. This is where we had previoulsy rented. The boats were SLOW. When we did this two years ago they were fast. There was a family paying right before me and they were saying there boats were really slow to. The CM said that Disney is in the process of changing boats to the slower ones. The other resorts on Bay Lake still have the faster one but the Contemporary has mostly the slower ones and soon all the boats at Disney will be slower. She said it is more environmentally friendly. My kids and I all agreed that we will skip this next time. Big Bummer!

I had no idea you could break up the 4 hour plan. We plan to get the 4 hour plan when we're at WL next month. We worried that 4 hours on the water would be too much. I love that you can do this!

What were the pontoon's like? Also, can you get the surrey bikes or just regular bikes with this plan?

They were really nice. Lots of room in fact DD fell asleep on one of the benches.
The surrey bikes are not included in the plans.
