You haven't lived til you are standing with your family, alone in the dark, all quiet, no one else around, enjoying the moment. When suddenly THERE IS A BLOOD CRUDLING SCREAM from about six feet above you!! :lmao: Yes those beautiful peacocks sit in trees, on fences, roofs, etc. and when you least expect it, let out screams that could make your hair stand on end ! :scared1: .

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

But we do miss them at the Fort.

I remember seeing that as a kid it was cool and annoying. I miss them.:confused3 Long live the peacocks.

Tony !! ,, Where'd you find the railroad tracks ???

What a neat surprize ! Great pic !

This is between the 700 and 800 loop, looking East toward the 600 loop. There are a few places left with the railroad ties still in place. There is even a section of complete track over between the dog park and the 1500 loop.....but it is so overgrown that it is not easy to get to anymore. I really loved this view down the right of way, and there in the distance is our trailer.

Great picture, but sad that there are no Christmas decorations yet :confused3 We are arriving on Saturday and was hoping to see some at the Fort.

I'm sure this picture was taken a while ago. I've got to believe that there are plenty of Christmas decorations, everywhere, by now. Christmas is, after all, just around the corner.

The picture was actually taken last Friday morning. The parks were all decorated, but nothing at FW.

Awww :sad1: Riding the train through ft. wilderness was my first memory of Disney. I recall being about 6 and thinking "Wow, this is great! Every campground should have a train!" :rotfl:

Now: replace Walt's beautiful train with annoying golf carts breaking speed limits and path rules. Ugh.

Tony,
Great Picture:thumbsup2 I'm curious to know were is it? Is it the by the out post?

I was standing on the road that is East of the Kennel. The building to the left is the Kennel. Behind me and across the fence is the golf course.

Really cool shots, Tony! :thumbsup2

Can't wait to see it all in person on SUNDAY!:dance3: :dance3:
