From lunch on campus at Lamar University before fall dance show to front row seats for the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2024 in Las Vegas...DGD's had an exciting day! AND...Mimi, Pappy and Aunt Amanda survived Houston holiday traffic on our way to Beaumont to watch our baby girl!

It's Thanksgiving week...a few of the things I'm thankful for includes trips to DW during one of my favorite times of the year!

Today I give thanks for my family. Since DD and DSIL are leaving tomorrow for, what I understand Kathy will be a SNOWY Colorado, we had our family Thanksgiving tonight. Also celebrating both DGD's; oldest was accepted to work on a research project for NASA and youngest will be starting a new adventure in 2025. Blessed and thankful...

Up close with rhinos. A highly recommended tour at Animal Kingdom. We met Mylo and both of us got to pet him. He is a one ton baby. The entire cost of the tour is donated to further Disney conservation efforts.

Yes, it's snowy here but we woke up to the best possible type of snow yesterday: beautiful snowy yards and bushes but snow melting immediately on roads and sidewalks! I hear that it's very snowy in the mountains to our west though. Safe travels for the family

Hope that continues! I'm not sure exactly which direction they're going in; there was a little snow on the ground wherever they stopped for the night! They're sure enjoying the cooler weather!

BEST Thanksgiving in years! Full house at my sisters; no "table for 24" so we serve buffet style and guess who was first in line! They were both ready for a home cooked meal! Hope all my Disboard friends were as blessed as we were on this day of thanks.
