We're both having to complete a lot of tasks this week, aren't we? Never dreamed our trip to DW would "last" almost 3 WEEKS!

Tonight was the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree ...and a bowl of pickles :

And...our tree is finally shining brightly complete with it's new 2022 Disney ornaments!

Spent the day trying to figure out how to save my blooming plants from the upcoming mid-teen temperatures!

We got snow last night and temps dipped down to - 9 including a 30 degree temp drop in a single hour! Luckily the sun is out and it is going up to 9 degrees midday. Hope you can protect your plants!

Cheryl's daughter-in-law messaged me earlier; they're with her family for Christmas in Colorado. She said they've had negative temps all day! This "cold snap" is brutal across the entire nation! Stay warm!

2:30 AM...and just finished wrapping gifts! Time for me to "settle down for a long winter's nap"!

Good job but it surely took something out of you this month to get ready for Christmas; I know it did for me! Time to step back and enjoy the season!

Stockings are hung and Santa just stopped by our house! MERRY CHRISTMAS to all and to all a GOOD NIGHT!

Marvelous Christmas Day but evening not so much! Sister and her family arrived at the Austin Airport at 5:45 this evening for their 7:40 flight to Orlando. At 10 PM they were told their flight was CANCELED! Nothing available until Wednesday so they're now "on the road" for the 17 hour drive to the Grand Floridian! UGH...not a good start for their trip! Lots of favorites from Christmas morning; MY favorite Christmas gifts; can't wait to read the EPCOT 40 book!

That is SO CUTE! The perfect gift for you too!

They arrived at the Grand Floridian at 5:30 PM EST! Just in time too; my nephews wife had emergency dental work done the Tuesday before Christmas (root canal failed so that tooth and one other had to be removed). She refused to take her pain pills since they "knock her out" and she wanted to pull her share and take turns driving. About 65 miles out of Orlando she was miserable and couldn't take it anymore AND...by that time nephew was getting a migraine from lack of sleep! In hindsight, THEY should have driven until about midnight and stopped somewhere to get some rest. They arrived safely about an hour later and Joan and Kate have actually taken the boys to DS so they could go to the Lego Store and their Mom and Dad could SLEEP!
