Competition is done for this National's and these young ladies brought home some "major hardware"! DGD's Contemporary placed 4th Overall today and 3rd Overall average for the entire week! Grand Showcase Finale performances tomorrow and back home for a week of rest before the final competition of the year in July.

Still wading through photos from our last trip... didn't realize how much upgrading from 20mp RAW (Canon 6D) to 42mp RAW (Sony A7RII) files was going to tax my PC. Ended up building a custom PC to handle the larger files more efficiently in Lightroom & Photoshop and WOW! What a difference! Processing pictures is no longer a painful process!

DD finally found time to post some of her photos from their trip a couple of weeks ago. I laughed hardest at this one...proving even teenagers get tired! Looks like the end of a trip but this was actually their arrival day...after a 5:30 AM flight! They had to leave for the airport at 1:30 AM; this was taken about 4:30 in the afternoon after a visit to DS after they arrived!
