SCHOOLS OUT for these girls (DGD actually finished yesterday and is back home already ). Time for a break but they'll be back in that soccer uniform before we know it...and "officially JUNIORS in college!

Nice surprise when I checked Facebook today! This picture was taken after graduation, 1996; posted again today by one of our "band kids". This young man's mother passed away when he was in Jr. High; my friend and I "adopted" him when necessary (his Dad was often out of town on business) and "kept him in line" during his high school years. He (and his Dad) became part of our extended family. He's now a Dad of 2 beautiful children; this Mother's Day greeting meant the world to be.
