Exactly! I'm loving having "my family" visible in the kitchen every day!Are y'all expecting any snow this week from the newest winter storm? Allie could get a little snow/ice mixture with a temperature drop from here, over the weekend of 75, to her college home low of 12 mid-week! She's hoping for online classes a couple of days and is stocking up on "warming food" after she finishes classes today! Whatever happens hope it's not as bad as it was in the East this past weekend! āāā

Yes, we're looking at possibly 6 in. or more starting Tuesday afternoon which would make it the biggest snow so far plus cold (low teens) and wind. Even so, it will probably melt by Friday
Glad that Allie sounds more prepared than last winter!
But Allie's doctor visit this morning was ALL
! She was given the okay to resume soccer drills, run....everything but "contact drills". Now she's facing a few days of dealing with ice and the only way to get to her car is across the back deck and down steps! She's more than a little worried about a "slip and fall" and starting over again. REALLY hoping for online classes! Enjoy YOUR snow!

Campus shut down until Monday so Allie and Emily are "hibernating" with freezing rain falling outside since about 3 this afternoon. We had a stormy sky with rain; temperature dropped from 65 this afternoon to 39 now with more rain/ice tomorrow and freezing temperatures until Friday about noon. Don't think I'll be going to the soccer game Friday night!

so all is good. They're still housebound at least through tomorrow; temps will barely get above freezing so nothing will be melting but that's okay...they're enjoying it! We've been at 30 all day and got a little ice but still able to walk outside. Low tonight should be in low 20's. We rarely get ice or snow but sure favor the snow over the ice! It's "bone chilling"; even had to push Boo out the back door today to do her business!
