Even the weather app on my phone is excited ; a break in the 100 degree heat next week!

Even the weather app on my phone is excited ; a break in the 100 degree heat next week!

And that same drastically colder weather is heading our way too - snow predicted for here Tuesday! If it does snow it will be the first time in September for 20 years!

Just make sure you keep sending it in our direction! I LOVE this time of the year; it will be cool for Friday night's football game and then we'll be back in the upper 80's/low 90's again but that "touch of fall" is a welcomed relief as I'm sure it is for y'all too!

Now the weathermen say "sorry". A low pressure over COLORADO will prevent the colder air from entering our area; front should stall just outside of Houston lowering our temperatures MAYBE 2-3 DEGREES! Oh well...you need it WAY more than we do....fire relief is much more important! Enjoy it...and post some snow pictures for us poor folks still enjoying our swimming pools!

Well we got about 3 inches of snow; the first September snow in 20 years! It melted on the roads immediately but it is so pretty. But the temperature dropped to 27 degrees last night so a two blanket night! It's only supposed to go up into the 40s today.
