Forgive me, but I am not familiar with the "new" Figment... could you tell me what has changed over the years with him? He is one of my fondest memories from childhood (first trip 1984)!

Sorry, bad wording on my part. As far as I know Figment is the same. I meant Figment with the original Dreamfinder.

Umm . . . not exactly sure what is being referred to here, but I'll do my best.

If we're talking about the actual Figment character in the ride, he's still the same purple dragon, but the ride itself is completely different from '84.

If we're talking about the character (as in meet n greet character), Dreamfinder used to do meet n greets in Epcot, holding Figment in the size he appears in the ride. Nowadays, Dreamfinder isn't present in the ride or in meet n greets, and Figment is a regular-sized, walk around character just like Mickey or Minnie. He greets in "Figment's Place" near the Figment ride.

OOOh! thank you so much for posting that! I used to have one from my visit in '04 - he is the Figgi I have fond memories of!! I used to have a pic - but now is missing... Thanks so much for bringing him back for me!!
