Picture from Denver, Co last weekend (Large image attached)

This was the Drum Corps International Finals at Invesco Field in Denver. One of my favorite corps, the Cavaliers from Rosemont, Il, won. This picture is from what they call "retreat", where the 12 corps who performed earlier that night come out on the field for the scores. This is a composite image from 9 or 10 shots that I stitched together. Then all of the corps play a version of "America the Beautiful / O' Canada", and when all 12 corps play, it is amazing!! Gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. Hope you like it!

That is really cool! I've always wanted to watch one of those competitions. I twirled both in high school and college and love watching other groups. I get chills too.

Brian, I had a friend who took vacation to go to this, and we live 20 miles north of there. He said it was awesome. Did you enjoy your stay in the mile high city? The weather's been weird, but it's a nice place to visit, huh?

Awesome picture Brian. I took almost 200, but not any that came that close.

Next years finals are in Foxboro Mass and Providence RI.

I actually have one more picture from that I took. The night before finals, during semi-finals, we were on the opposing side of the stadium, facing West. The sky lit up during an internission, and I wanted to capture the "sunset".

You know, tickets are already on sale for next year in Foxboro, MA...... I already have mine.
